Gameage closure
It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that gameage is no longer. The problems caused was due to 2 things. One being s4u networks involvement and the other in the price charge increase by redbus.
As you was made aware I brought in someone called Lee to the company, this was mainly to help out because I was going away to work for 3 months then have a 1 month holiday at the end of it. Lee agreed to become 50/50 partners in the company for a set fee. We met and signed a contract and that was that, I posted on the forums informing you of the changes that was to be made. Anyway on the strength of this contract signing I borrowed money to pay for the 4 months away that was coming up. Just after this Lee went on the missing list. He was in charge of the paypal payments for Gameage so I could not access the paypal because I didn't have the password. He took payments that was meant to be going to pay the bills and went on the missing list for a month. During this month I found out that he had a company called S4U Networks which he had used to rip people off. I have known Lee online for about 4/5 years and I didn't for one minute think he would do things like this.
Anyway people got wind of this Lee working for Gameage, put 2 and 2 together and got 5 and it was Gameage that suffered in the end. Posts on gaming sites and word of mouth travelled quickly and custom dried up because people thought Gameage were thieves. During this time redbus put their prices up on their racks and power supply so basically because I had spent money on the strength of Lee saying he was going to be paying me later in the month which he never, and also taking the PayPal money there was no funds left to pay the bill.
Anyone who had time left on their contract can contact al@gameage.co.uk with their transaction number for the payment and expiry date and your money will be refunded. Please have patience with this though, Worldpay refunds should be ok but PayPal refunds may take a while.
I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all customers that have ever used Gameage and especially the customers who have been with us for the whole 3 years. We was never out to make a massive profit which is probably where we went wrong but when I started this company I was a gamer offering a service that the gamers wanted. Eventually I lost my passion to run gameage and my passion for gaming and the S4U thing was the final straw. I wish you all the best in the future in gaming and in life and maybe when I get back you will see me in some servers again!
There will be a list of hardware for sale on this site shortly and the possible sale of gameage.co.uk domain name so if you are interested please check back next week.
Once again I am sorry and thank you for your support and custom over the last 3 years!
If you are looking for a game server please go to http://rawgames.net I would highly reccommend them. Great staff and one of the best companies out there to deal with. Game Servers
Kind Regards
